What we look for in an ideal candidate:

A relevant Montessori qualification or active pursuit of advanced Montessori studies.

A deep and authentic understanding of the Montessori philosophy.

A passion for working with children, coupled with the patience essential to this role.

Experience in a genuine Montessori environment.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Proficiency in computer skills.

Substitute Staff

At Montessori Centre, we are committed to ensuring that we always have the right number of staff available to provide our learners with the support that they deserve.
We maintain a database of substitute guides and reception staff to help during those times when our permanent staff may fall ill, have study commitments, or have family responsibilities.
We have two-time slots during the day: 06h45 to 13h15 and 13h00 to 17:30.
Remuneration is paid on a daily rate, depending on qualifications, experience, and the time slot.
What we look for in the ideal candidate:

A relevant teaching qualification or advanced study towards one (for guides)

The passion and patience that is so crucial to working with children.

Experience working in a reception (for reception staff).

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Computer literacy.​

Internship Program​​

At Montessori Centre, we are dedicated to supporting the growth and sustainability of Montessori education in Namibia. To further this mission, we offer an internship program designed to provide Montessori students with valuable experience in an authentic Montessori environment.
Key aspects of the internship program:

Interns are compensated for their time at Montessori Centre.

The program runs for a limited duration, typically between 6 to 12 months.

Applicants must be actively pursuing a relevant Montessori qualification.
